Trilogy Of Terror
We always say the best music, movies and TV shows have all been made, we’re here to help you remember them all.
1975’s “Trilogy of Terror” is proof of that.
This is the one movie anyone who grew up in the era will say “that little doll scared the shit out of me.”
Trilogy of Terror was a made-for-tv special that featured three different stories.
The first story entitled “Julie” is about a college professor who seeks excitement with her students; the second, titled “Millicent And Therese” is about twin sisters who have a bizarre relationship. The third and final segment, the one most remembered is about a woman who gets a little doll as a gift. The doll comes to life and terrorizes hre in her apartment.
Chicago native (R.I.P.) Karen Black stars in all the segments along with co-stars include Black’s husband Robert Burton. Black had turned down the movie until her husband had been cast in the “Julie” segment. There was a less than successful sequel titled Trilogy Of Terror II released in 1996.
The movie debuted on ABC on March 4, 1975 as its Movie of the Week.
