Fresh off their 1978 hit “Foul Play”, Chevy Chase and Goldie Hawn return to the screen bringing their chemistry to this #tbt classic.
Chevy Chase’s personality shines through here as Nick Gardenia, a writer who, while laboring over a novel in his ocean-side retreat is kidnapped by two crooks. The not-so-smart duo force Nick to rob a bank for them and his face is caught on the camera and insanity ensues.
Deep in trouble Nick has no one else to turn to for help but his ex-wife Glenda (Goldie Hawn), A sucker for strays, Glenda takes him in but tries to keep him under wraps from her uptight District Attorney husband (Charles Grodin)
Written by Neil Simon, the movie also stars a very young T.K. Carter, and Robert Guillame
The movie grossed over 43 million dollars at the box office.
