DJ Markski was known as the DJ that played all that great ‘euro’ on Chicago’s B96 back in the day.

Originally from Poland, Dj Markski’s first DJ experience was on Loyola’s Energy 88.7 FM. He was part of the Powerpack DJS. In 1996, he joined Chicago’s B96 (WBBM FM).

Markski played soccer at Marquette before transferring to Loyola University. It was 1992, at that time he was playing ‘techno’. Artists like Walz That Noyz, Alpha Team, L.A. Style, 2 Unlimited, Quadrophonia, Digital Boy, Apotheosis and others,

The ‘Euro’ sound was becoming the rage in Europe so DJ Markski did a ‘euro’ mix and never looked back.  In 1993, he and his friend Peter opened up Markski CD + Tapes and the rest… is history.
